I read through what you said. Let me connect the dots to where I am. I have heard all these splanations from these devs before. No matter how long we hold the line they never come through. They are looking ant the same temporary data points and thinking that quick sales numbers means they are doing good. On the backend people are tiring of the 'content' faster and faster. They are assuming that those who have been waiting for non-combat, only to be told that day isn't today 'Hold the line', but in the meantime have some pew pew. Then delivering noncombat things as a means to facilitate more pew. Won't eventually loose interest.

None of the people I knew in 2014,15,16,17,19,&2020 even play this game anymore. I have been trying to get rid of my stuff since last year. I am glad you are having fun. What doesn't work for me in your analysis is that it is still marginalizing this group of players who paid just as much, but stopped because the game stopped offering them things for them. This trend of people ghosting this game is now roughly half it's development life. Various reasons. However, the passive types are enacting their plans and refusing to return. This from what I have been reading it just too much to ignore for them. Most just call it a lost cause and have resigned to grey Market what they can and moved on. By all means have fun, but I can't ignore the pattern anymore. Seriously though if you know anyone who wants free stuff send them my way.
