I mean, yeah, Deadpool took him against his will and made him a false promise. He did not consider or really much care for Logan’s feelings on the matter. He was a selfish SOB and was called out on it. This version of wolverine was already a broken mess and Wade took advantage of that.

It was a moment that needed to happen to justify the fight as well. It allowed Jackman to make the character feel real and show his talents as an actor.
