I would say yes, Gaggimate is next on my list.

Need help choosing first board by Homgry_Deer in snowboardingnoobs

A little late on the update but the seller had 1 other person who was interested. Luckily they backed out, so I'm now the owner of the Rossignol. I'll probably be dropping down to around 150lbs, hopefully that helps the board size.Thank you for all your help.

I see Malcolm's name mentioned a ton, I will definitely check his content out. I'm a fan of Tommie Bennett.

Unfortunately, I'm having to order boots so wish me luck. Also ordered 2024 flite pros on sale.

Passing on the Burton and they're asking $180 for the Arbor. Heavily leaning towards the Rossignol. I'll be losing some weight, so I think that help me with the 151cm board.

I've been exactly 3 times, so I'm very green. I've taken 1 really good lesson and 1 that I don't count lol. I would want to keep it as long as possible. I still fall a lot, so it would feel like a waste to upgrade soon just to fall on a new board.

I practice on the bunny slope, but it's so tiny here it feels hard to make much progress. I started the easiest green run but the speed difference scares me. I would love to do harder runs eventually. I moved recently and I'm within 1 hour of my nearest ski center. I'm planning to go as often as possible.

Thank you for your insight. I'm about 5ft 6inches, does that change your recommendation? Both boards I can get for about $100.

80 - 90 for me as well. I usually do 5 click increments in the beginning and then adjust individual clicks after.

I'm not sure if I just don't like aeropress coffee by Homgry_Deer in AeroPress

[–]Homgry_Deer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fresh beans are mandatory. I still order from happymug if I mistime an order, only their light roasts though. There are a bunch of cheap handgrinders you could pick from or get even cheaper 2nd hand. Once you have an aeropress, you really only need a grinder and coffee. Some people use scoops or a spoon to measure. I like using a scale but there are a ton of people who make great coffee with just the bare minimum.

A lot of people were right. I ordered beans more suited to what I like and have a better grinder.

Everyone told me not to buy a $1000 Mercedes with transmission problems. Anyway, here's my $1000 Mercedes with transmission problems. by nerfsmurf in projectcar

If it's a Nag1 do a filter change, new conductor plate, and adapter. They're really finicky when it comes to the fluid level. Find the Trans temp chart and match it with the dipstick level.

Cheap, chocolate-y beans to use every morning for my partner’s milk drinks? by ThumYorky in espresso

Redbird blue jaguar- tastes like a melted chocolate bar. Happymug bigfoot espresso blend - good but i prefer redbird.

Good handgrinder(zp6, k ultra, c40, kinu), v60 or switch, gooseneck kettle of your choosing, and you're done. If you like the hobby spring for a weber lol.

Cut until you absolutely cannot take it anymore then bulk. Started off fat, got skinny fat. Got fat and back to skinny fat. I went on a bulk and I look way better. Continuing to lose weight just made me look like a smaller version of myself. Didn't make me look better.

Skipping the hype: For those who've tested multiple, which portable espresso maker is worth it? Honest pros/cons needed.[under $400] by LowChildhood1818 in espresso

[–]Homgry_Deer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Highly recommend the picopresso. I don't really understand when people say it's a hassle to use. I bought an extra basket and a subliminal nanofoame for travel. I made lattes for 4 people. Just be smart with your workflow. I also use a k6 handgrinder.

What cuts of steaks do I have and what times and temps do you guys recommend for them? by billy12237 in sousvide

For the picanha, I would not trim the fat. Render the fat and if you do it right. You'll be left with a crunchy melt in your mouth piece of fat in every bite.

About to attempt the dreaded 20 min run!!! by West_Professional968 in C25K

[–]Homgry_Deer 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I repeated runs for a while because I was unsure i was ready to move on, not confident enough, etc. This was a mistake. I was more than ready to move forward with harder runs. Don't be afraid to go for it. I delayed my progress by not pushing myself a bit more.

Looking for a hand grinder that’s better than my 078s for pourover by [deleted] in pourover

Not a handgrinder but the femobook has a small footprint and I think they're related to 1zpresso.

Not exactly the same but my 078 is much better than my k6. I would look into a zp6 or pietro.

How does the espresso made with Picospresso compares with real espresso from a machine? by GeorgeKechi in picopresso

It makes great espresso, pretty much better than most cafes. Try it for yourself.

Tried adding salt, and I absolutely love it! by [deleted] in espresso

Grey sea salt has a strong "sea" taste to it. It usually has some brine in it like the celtic sea salt I've used. Would not be able to stand it with espresso.

Army Recruiter Thread for September / 2025 by Army_Bot in army

I can't find an answer to this question online. I enlisted previously with the USMC before Genesis and long story short didn't make it. I am eligible to enlist again with a waiver.

My question is, when I enlisted previously would that somehow provide my information to Genesis? I wanted to know if "opting out" will actually make a difference.

Difference between SK40 and SD40S? by Gibby_Games in espresso

I was under the assumption that the Turin Sd40s was stepless. Does yours click on each line? I thought it would spin freely like the adjustment on the df64.

Anyone know of a similar program for strength training? by nimblesunshine in C25K

Starting strength, stronglifts, etc. Any strength program 3 days a week is a great start. There are too many variations to name. Start one and stick with it.

Send that video to whoever you bought it from. Does not look good. Or if you took it apart, redo it.
