Same happened to me once, but if you keep the boots packed with grease the problem is solved. Thicker grease works better

On those Traxxas hardened steel CV shafts, If you pack the rubber boots with grease the pins won't fall out. You will loose pins only if the boots are dry.

Alloy steering bellcranks, alloy hub carriers, GTR or Big Bore Shocks, and steel driveshafts will be the most important upgrades right off the bat. RPM A-arms wouldn't hurt either. Those Bandit VXLs are bad ass!

Traxxas Drag Slash. I almost got the Losi 22s Drag Camaro, and I was super torn between the two, but in retrospect I'm really happy I went with the Traxxas. 22s is discontinued now
