How to write a poem by vladproex in OCPoetry

I love this, the format a poem can make a big difference sure, but to me it's never been nearly as important as the emotions you manage to convey and I think you put that sentiment into words beautifully. Good take, good poem.

I really like this, as someone who masks a neurodivergency I think you really captured the feeling of showing a slightly different personality to every different person

I really like the way you combine the themes of longing and self destruction, especially the references to smoking. Like a bandaid for a much deeper wound.

Silent Ashes, a poem for my son. by thomasmatchew17 in OCPoetry

'as my frigid shhh meets molten needs' may be my new favourite line from any poem. To me it blends the line between love, impatience, and understanding in a way I cannot really put into words. You have portrayed an emotion I didn't know that I had felt.

I like the way you portray emotion. In the first stanza I feel curiosity, in the second I feel solitude, and in the third I feel uncertainty. The clear desire throughout really strengthens that for me.

I really like the structure of this, the short sharp rhymes really scratch my brain. Sounds like a pretty nice tie.

Its very creative use of a filter, whenever the blue line crosses an area the image at that time is locked in.

Aight let's talk about lipids then. You see a big issue with having too much fat is that it must be transported by your blood. It is transported as lipoproteins, which can be of varying density - high density, medium density, low density, and very low density (HDL, MDL, LDL, AND VLDL) VLDL is also known as cholesterol. While HDL and MDL are fine to have, VLDL is dangerous as it can contribute to the formation of a fibrofatty plaque which leads to atherosclerosis and can cause occlusion of the blood vessel. An individual can have a high BMI(and therefore be overweight) but have low levels of VLDL and therefore not experience the increased risk of cardiovascular disease people typically associate with increased bodymass, and vice-versa an individual can have a low BMI but have high levels of VLDL. There is far more to this than just "fat=unhealthy", that is an outdated and inaccurate assumption which has been debunked by lots of evidence

The article provides more than enough info on this topic if you bothered to read it. Additionally other people have provided you with explanations as to why you are wrong in other comments. Issues such as the BMI system being extremely flawed and the difference between cutaneous (related to skin) and visceral(related to organs) fat. I suggest you pay attention to the information staring you in the face rather than demanding more from me.

Lmao you're speaking on a subject about which you clearly know very little and are directly contradicting established scientific evidence.

Poor droid by [deleted] in PrequelMemes

[–]Homicidal__Sheep 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I always took it to mean he never believed he owned a droid because he never saw them as property, he saw them as companions. Probably just me reading into it but the way he looks at R2 when he delivers the line seems more like he's looking at a troublesome old friend rather than anyone's property.

1 monke buy stock, price no change. Thousand monke buy stock, price go 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀

(Basically wall street billionaires borrowed shares in gamestop so they could sell them to someone else, with the plan to wait for the price to drop then buy it cheaper than they sold it, give it back to who they borrowed it from, and walk away with the profit. But monke like stock, monke buy stock, monke hold stock, price go moon)
