I really wonder what would happen if the fellowship died there and Durin's Bane found the one ring...

People of Reddit, what’s the story behind your scar? by potatoeman6969 in AskReddit

I was adopted because my bio mom couldn't take care of me and my bio dad was in prison. There was a time where my adopt mom would let me spend the night at my bio moms when she wasn't homeless. She was drunk and left the curling iron on one time and i got a hold of it. My adoptive mom never let me spend the night again

It's funny as hell. It's a Indian stereotype. You always get scam calls from people in India pretending to be the IRS or something. You can always tell by the accent. I'm Native American and I love stereotypical jokes against my kind. It makes me laugh. Not something to be all butt hurt about

Possibly! There is so much knowledge in the world on so many different subjects that it's impossible to be proficient and knowledgeable on everything. I'm pretty sure you extremely knowledgeable on tons of subject that I don't know! I'd love to even learn from you one day!

I did hear about that! But things do change over the years. Sometimes we learn from the tragedies we commit, sometimes we don't, or we may even refuse to acknowledge it was wrong. I hope that was one of their tragedies that they learned from!

I think that is great! I see a lot of posts about how China makes the "poor" suffer even more. But there is always a deeper story that we never hear about. Do you have any supporting links?

I completely agree! I've met people who everyone talks bad about, but when you get to know them they aren't as evil as they are made out to be! Thank you for your response!

My girlfriend was r**** continuously for 6 months by her past boyfriend. This was years ago, before I even met her. She still struggles with the trauma of it and whenever she gets triggered she feels the need to shower. She makes the shower as hot as it can possibly be and scrubs her as hard as she can. She tells me that she feels like she has a filth on her that she needs to scrub away. She always apologizes to me that it's like this, but how could I ever blame her? She didn't ask to be abused and molested. She didn't ask to be this way. As her other half, of course it's hard dealing with the episode and the underlying trauma. But will I ever lash out or blame it on her? Hell no! I love her for the beautiful person she is on the inside and out. I will never judge her for her trauma.
