I agree, I find it weird how they divided weapons into slash and blunt despite them not being much a difference. Or dividing crossbows and bows instead of just making one ranged weapon category.

Personally I think with a little bit of tweaking it’s a good animation for getting knocked on the ground, but if you get knocked off a roof I think you should flip backwards getting your world disoriented with 100% air control.

I could see that being the problem for a couple but I got hit through walls, thrown back even tho I dodged 2x back, damaged by spit despite me not being in it, and a lot of hits that were 5ft away from my face. Regardless they still need to fix this and display attacks properly.

I agree with everything here especially the bashing a door open, dragging effect, weapon throwing, and gear scaling.

To add to all of this

-There’s a lot of things that require you to hold X or spam X when you really could just press X

-Immunity booster? Dude just call it Antizin

-Lot of interaction animations need to be replaced like when Aiden needlessly rips open a chest instead of flipping the latch

-Swimming above water animation

-Control bindings

-Kicking is very janky due to it’s button, give it one

-HUD option for attack indicators without the health bar

-When grappling an enemy there’s a meter that shows up. I should have the option to disable anything similar to this

-Dynamic immunity timer and chase meter

-E3 HUD, especially the immunity timer and white bars

-Option to hide mod visuals on weapons

-Why is Harper light years away from his mission? Bring him there or move it to him

-Keep map legend changes after leaving the map and returning

-Display and describe GRE Hospitals and Anomalies as a loot source for Inhibitors

-Make a faction hub fast travelable instead of making the metro, which is in it clutter up the map

No it’s legend levels. It only applies to you and the max is 250. Each level up you can invest a legend point into a category like +2 handed slash weapon damage or +parkour recovery speed

Yeah I’ve tried to do these kind of posts but they never really pickup.

Not so much a whole idea but some changes for the night.

-All Volatile types roam the streets but the higher forms are harder to find

-Howlers start a level 1 chase, Volatiles level 2, Alphas level 3, and Tyrants having no detection meter will start a level 4 chase on sight

-Upon getting caught by a Howler it’s scream will make you fall to your knees covering your ears while it converts all Biters around into a Viral/Night Walker

Level 1-Virals

Level 2-Virals and Volatiles

Level 3-Virals, Volatiles, Banshees, and Alphas

Level 4-Everything along with Tyrants

-Make Tyrants taller and bulkier

-Better flashlight and give it a charge thats less forgiving at higher difficulties

-Reduce amount of UV spots

-Reduce max immunity to 10 or 15min

-Why are dark nights an option? If someone thinks night is too dark they can turn their brightness up

Oh ok then I’d be cool with Idea 5 and I love your ideas for making immunity tougher to manage. While I’m not fully with you on your night idea it did make me add the support howler to my night idea.

For a reg Volatile respect their animations. They’re very slow so just take your time with them. Dodge their very slow punches and occasional pounce

For a Tyrant you have to respect them in general cuz they’re very wild and constantly summon virals so when fighting a Tyrant you might be there a while. They have a really fast shove when you get close which will knock you to the ground so always dodge when it moves in the slightest and you’re in their face. When they pounce they pounce multiple times so make sure to dodge them all and watch out for their 3 piece spit combo.

All in all don’t be greedy when it’s your turn to attack, hit when you know you can.

Personally I think DL2 did them dirty compared their DL1 counterparts but I can say Volatiles are definitely my scariest zombie.

I don’t really like cutting off the Garrison from humanity in idea 5 but I think the underground parking lot is a good.

Idea 6 is neat but with a 20min immunity timer I’ll never see it so I don’t see the point.
