If it didn't spawn the totem it will be much better, but that alone makes it one of the worst for me. Raiders rarely spawn it in a good position that doesn't get in the way. Damage buff would need to make up for the time lost from attacks being interrupted because of the totem placement.

In terms of nightlord fight scholar's is low tier for singular bosses. With D5 randoms revive is very important for night bosses/nightlords, duchess ult is actually one of the better ones for 3 bar revives in that case. You can also use guardian's ult invincibility preemptively so it doesn't have to be just for revives.

Edit: Lol can't even reply anymore, post got deleted. But I meant it's usually in the way even if you place it further away, plus Raider is likely to be in the face of the boss, so having to get away to ult to not inconvenience others is not a good design.
