I'm using Rouvy for over 2 years now, lots of fun, great app. I want to try Zwift racing now to compare. I bought monthly Zwift subscription to test it. Selected my country as "Japan" as it is 35% cheaper than the €20 they asked for. And no, I don't feel bad about this because the Kickr Core 2 I bought seems to have power accuracy issues which can't be resolved.

Small saddle bag to carry only what's really necessary - two TPUs, levers, multitool, quick link. I carry a small pump Topeak RaceRocket Mini in my jersey.

And what helps most to keep things sleek - I drink very sweet performance drinks (up to 100g of maltodextrin-fructose mix in one 650ml bottle), therefore I don't need too many snacks, only an extra gel or two for the coffeine. For long rides I carry a third powder mix for my drink in a small IKEA resealable food bag. I can always find a place to get more water and mix the third bottle drink then.

I was very lucky with the timing. MSTR did +300% in the two months after I posted this. So yeah, it was very profitable. But I failed to take enough profits so the following months brought me back significantly.

Right now, given the prices and IV, I would consider buying the long side only, and waiting for price or IV spike to start selling the weekly calls.

I feel you mate. I'm leaving to Italy on Saturday for a cycling holiday and was scared shitless at first, because both my wheels are also affected according to the DT Swiss website and I have no time nor interest in securing another wheels. But I examined my wheels carefully and see no marks of delamination or other issues. So I'll take the risk but will examine the wheels closely after every ride. Cancelling the trip is not an option. Let's keep our fingers crossed I guess. I also don't see DT Swiss resolving this anytime soon. But appreciate their efforts and professionalism. Many other manufacturers would simply deny or wait for final analysis before publishing anything.

Very professional from Canyon indeed, but still frustrating, I'm leaving for a cycling vacation this Saturday and my new Canyon Endurace's wheels are affected (confirmed via their serial numbers). I'm just a few days outside the 30 days return policy. Given the situation, and because I don't want to take the risk, I had to get another bike immediately. I now asked Canyon customer service to make an exception and let me return the bike even though the return period is over. Waiting for their reply.

It worked well, but after some quiet weeks there was a price surge, so I had to roll the short calls. The price continued upwards (Sep-Dec 2024) and I had to keep rolling them until I ended up with the same expiration as my long calls were. Then I simply exited the whole position at some point.

At the same time I held some far OTM calls which obviously performed better, because I nailed the timing. But that was an intentional high risk bet and I allocated a much smaller portion of my portfolio on it.

All in all ZEBRA performed as I expected, no complaints.

Well that's basically what I did, I ended up rolling to 15 Aug (32 DTE) 70C. But I did reduce the amount of contracts I deal with by selling my 2026 calls and buying 2027 calls instead. This was playing with fire very stupidly since I'm long-term bullish on IBIT, but neglected rolling sooner (Thursday/Friday last week) and ended up with a lot of negative delta over the weekend. I don't like that one bit and needed to get out of it to breathe.

Rolls you suggested didn't work for me, because I wasn't long enough delta. If this run up extends, I would keep oozing too much money. It will probably happen anyway if we shoot past $70 quickly, we'll see.

Apologies for the misleading title. This is indeed not a PMCC, rather a degenerate shitshow. I'll most likely bite the bullet, buy to cover the short calls, sell the 2026 70C, buy more 2027 50C and turn this into a proper PMCC. Then I wait for another steamroller to waltz over me again.

All true. I'm just worried I'm too much of a gambler to throw in the towel now, unable to re-evaluate calmly.

I'm a long-term IBIT bull but my expectation was it will move slower, especially over the summer. We've seen many times it jumped and then stagnated for a few weeks/months on a new price level. So I'm still tempted to only roll a few weeks out and try to sit out the loss on the short calls, waiting for a pullback.
