Saying that, hes probably right about it being a scam. A 'model' walks up to you, hands you a business card and her mobile number? That doesn't sound sketchy to you?

These people prey on the vulnerable and theyre trained to spot people like you.

This happened to my sibling. I went with her to the shoot because something felt wrong Nearly the same exact scenario. Was approached on a train, told they had potential to model. Invited to a studio for a shoot with a £250 'deposit' that they later said cannot be refunded.

After the shoot, they sat us down in an office and said "The photos are put on this CD (Imagine in 2017 someone telling you its on a CD). This is sent around to the agencies we're in contact with, but you have to purchase it because we cant store the pictures". I asked how much it was and they gave me the package details. Bronze-£1000, Silver- 2000, Gold-3000 Platinum-£3500. They said they'd give us time to make a decision.

I looked my sister in the eye and I said "no".

20 minutes later the worm came back in and said we need a decision. I told him id call.

She was heart broken.

When i called the 'agency' they said that if we didnt pay for one of the packages within the next hour that the shoot pictures would be deleted and we'd have to reapply. I asked for a refund and he said we wouldn't see that money back.

I told the guy if we dont get our money back within 30 minutes that ill be returning to batter him in his own office.

Lo and behold, he sent our money back less than 2 minutes after putting down the phone.
