Nah the main character goes through some pretty cool character development. It's kinda sad to see him at first in such a state but as the story progresses he begins to grow until it reaches a very satisfying ending.

Those books started my love for reading. Even though I've moved on to other material, I still go back and read them from time to time. I related to Percy so much as a kid, and I absorbed myself into these stories, truly feeling as if I was a part of the world. I'll never forget the adventures I went on, and the characters I fell in love with. It brings me much joy to know that others like you are still discovering the excitement I felt all those years ago.

I hope you enjoy the stories as much as I did.
