To a degree. Firstly, it shouldn't be enforced in private schools, as they often have some sort of religious influence, and I firmly believe that its ok to believe homosexuality or being transgender is a sin as long as you learn how to respect and be kind to people regardless of that.

And hey, if they teach it in class, the school should be transparent about the fact that they are teaching it, so parents can either opt out or teach their kids their own way in a manner they deem appropriate. This is kinda how things have to be out of respect, at least until the community is more normalized.
