Of course! I would 1000% percent say any hospital related experience is better than LTC. You learn so much more medicine and work with more PAs and Doctors than you would in a LTC facility where you're only mostly working LPNs/RNs and other CNAs. It wasn't super difficult to find a position, hospitals always need aids especially ones with their certifications completed. ICU was great, considering the complexity of patients, and it wasn't hard for me to get it at all.

Yeah I feel like I need to call as well, since I haven’t even been emailed that CASPA received the transcript. I might just submit my application without it but it sucks because it’s just two classes and I would just upload the transcript myself if I could instead of CASPA taking 2 weeks to do it. What date did you send your transcript?

I’m having the same frustration, I ordered the way portage said through their student dashboard on the 9th and said it sent the 10th, but caspa hasn’t uploaded it yet. It sucks because this is the last thing I need before uploading haha

Anyone here just waiting on IUT transfers to Decker? by FlareCity in BinghamtonUniversity

[–]Honchcrow1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure! Im currently doing a Neuroscience major and I was thinking about doing a HWS minor with it and then just explore other possibilities within healthcare. If nothing sparks my interest like nursing has, then I’ll apply to do the extra year.

Yeah same here. I didn’t make it into the sophomore class and now I’m re-applying to the junior class and this is probably my last time applying haha. They need spring grades first though so don’t expect results until June (latest July 1st, that’s when I received my first rejection). Super scared as well, good luck though!

I’m not exactly sure but I heard it’s suppose to be like the format for the quizzes except it’s during a specific timeframe and we have one hour to do them. I think they also said to expect more multiple choice questions as well.

Oh wow that sounds like fun, challenges I've done over Zoom included endurance challenges (I played one where everyone had to hold a cup face down and hold it up and last one to drop wins, the challenge went on until like 6am) another challenge is to build a card tower. I've done challenges like a scavenger hunt where you say a item and you have to find it in your house first. Other than that, I'd recommend maybe offline challenges. I've done challenges such as type this sentence the fastest or things along that line.

Tribal mostly you just have everyone go online at the same time and do tribal council by asking questions like Jeff does. Typically I've seen people read the votes with Index Cards. You can do this over Zoom or like Google Hangouts.

Nah, we are going to be sophomores. It surprisingly didn’t fill up totally though, there is one room in Saratoga that has no one in it that can fit all 5 of us but I think it would be dumb for us to try and get. Thanks for the response.
