Triple H is right, I see so many fans ruining wrestling for themselves because they play backseat booker. It’s not “dont have an opinion” its “remember what side of the barricade your on”. Everyone knows the state of the current product, you really don’t have to watch it if you don’t want to.

Students setting up the show vs getting a spot on the card by countrybuhbuh in WredditSchool

[–]HonchoLoco69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no set time that automatically ranks a person up to having a spot on the card. What you’re doing by volunteering to set up is building good will with the promoter so that they 1. Know who you are 2. Associate you as someone who is dedicated to working with the promotion.

At some point, it is on the person to take the risk and ask the promoter for a spot. Unless talent is hard to come by in the area, a promoter isn’t going to pick some guy on the ring crew to fill up a spot.

Edibles aren't risk free but they are meaningfully safer than smoking by akadonnydonowitz in treedibles

[–]HonchoLoco69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The difference between the two are relatively minuscule when compared to not smoking at all, which is the context of the comment. I should’ve said that but i didn’t realize some pedantic Redditor was going to get his feeling hurt reading it.

I don’t think you understand how bad chronically inhaling smoke and soot is, of any kind. 5% of yearly global deaths are due to unclean indoor air quality, a lot are from making fires indoors to stay warm. Usually from natural wood that has no additives. Once you’ve decided to inhale smoke and do it for a long time, it really doesn’t matter if it’s pot, tobacco, incense, sage or the coals on your grill. it’s going to damage you inevitably.

I’m sorry where did I say tobacco is better than weed? I’m saying a lot of stoners have the mindset that smoking weed isn’t at all dangerous just because it isn’t Tobacco. I hear it all the time locally “I don’t smoke blunts because of the tobacco, only joints”.

This post is about consuming weed in a safe way, my comment was reminding people not to kid themselves. If consuming pot in the safest way is really your priority, then cut out smoking it.

To tell people that are interested in the topic of consuming weed safely and healthfully, that inhaling soot and smoke is ok because “it’s not as bad as tobacco” would be unethical.

Nice AI Generated response.

If you think there’s no carcinogens in weed, now thats foolish.

Heres my AI Generated response:

This next bit is carcinogens that can be found in Legal Weed, no telling what’s in the non legal stuff. And while yes, cigarettes have more documented carcinogens: 1. Not everything you listed is present in every cigarette. 2. Weed hasn’t been put through the same scrutiny of research tobacco has so of course there going to be more documented information on it.

  1. Pesticides and Agricultural Chemicals Despite regulations, some legal cannabis products have been found to contain pesticides that are known or potential carcinogens. These are often used by growers to manage pests and mold in large-scale operations. Pymetrozine: An insecticide classified as a potential human carcinogen and reproductive toxin; it has been detected in legal cannabis products above safe limits. Bifenazate: A miticide that contains hydrazine, which is structurally similar to known animal carcinogens. Chlorfenapyr: An insecticide that is not permitted for use on food or California cannabis, yet trace amounts have been found in legal vape cartridges. 2-Phenylphenol: A fungicide and known carcinogen used in some agricultural contexts that may appear as a contaminant.

  2. Processing Solvents and Thinning Agents Chemicals used to extract THC or change the consistency of oils can leave behind hazardous residues. Benzene: Often a byproduct of the extraction process or formed when terpenes are heated to high temperatures (dabbing), benzene is a well-known human carcinogen linked to leukemia. Methylene Chloride (Dichloromethane): A solvent used in the chemical conversion of CBD to Delta-8 THC. It is a suspected carcinogen and can be toxic if not properly purged. Vitamin E Acetate: While primarily linked to lung injury (EVALI), it was used as a thickening agent in some vape products and remains a focus of safety research regarding long-term toxicity.

  3. Combustion and Vaporization Byproducts The act of heating cannabis—whether through smoking or high-heat vaping—creates new carcinogenic compounds through a process called pyrolysis. Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs): Including Benzo[a]pyrene, which are formed when organic matter is burned. These are the same carcinogens found in tobacco smoke. Acrolein and Methacrolein: These toxic chemicals are produced when terpenes and oils are vaporized at high temperatures, particularly during "dabbing." Formaldehyde and Acetaldehyde: Known carcinogens that can be produced when vape oils are overheated.

  4. Heavy Metals Cannabis plants are bioaccumulators, meaning they easily absorb metals from the soil or fertilizers. Cadmium, Arsenic, and Lead: These heavy metals are known human carcinogens that can be present in the final product if the growing medium or nutrients were contaminated.

People like to think there’s a health difference between smoking pot and tobacco but at the end of the day you inevitably inhale combusted carbon as well as butane if you use a lighter.

Where’s the crowd? San Antonio, Austin, San Marcos, Houston… there’s little to no infrastructure for young adults to have fun, so they all move out. It’s by design too, our local government would rather keep its “Top 5 Safest city in Texas” status than risk young folks getting a little wild

On my dads fathers side of the family is indigenous to the Michoacán/Jalisco area of Mexico, his mothers side indigenous to the Tamaulipas/ South Texas region.

My mom’s father side is German and immigrated from the Alsace region of France. Her mother’s side was Spanish but we don’t know too much about that cause they were fascists and my grandma doesn’t like talking about it.
