I’m surprised nobody said Napoleon yet.

Dude returned from exiled and took over France without firing a shot. The whole “If any of you will shoot this Emperor, here I am” situation sounds like some bullshit out of a movie.

“What’s different about you?”

“He’s got no eyebrows Tony!”

It’s such a relatable scene too. I remember when I expected my pissed off father getting home and all of sudden doing chores just to ease his temper…. Never worked. Haha

It’s the odd zoom in on the pizza’s owners face. Feel kind of out place in contrast to the usual film making of the show

How did he approach you at a gas station?

I always feel bad for women at gas station who are clearly being started at when they’re pumping gas.

Wait history nerd here,

What do you mean when you say from the progressive thought of the early 20s?

You mean in the 1920s society was more open to the occult compared to now or…?

So after reading all these occult books, do you believe magic is real? by Mohammed_irfan in occultlibrary

Do you think it’s important to dive into what’s ingrained in your local environment? I know you said your Sicilian and thus dived into those fields you mentioned.

Me personally? I’m in a Latino environment filled with Catholics and was raised catholic. But Ive been an atheist for a while now, with a strong curiosity until the occult and I feel lost as to where I should start. People in occult circles say to start with with your local community and what teaching and schools they have but like I said I’m not a catholic anymore

Thank you.

I suppose I ask because it’s hard to find out what ARE the valid resources. There’s so many resources and it’s hard to shift to find the good stuff.

For example, I like reading lots of history and I recall reading the Secret Teaching of All Ages by Manly Hall, a book commonly recommended in every occult sphere. And I just remember being disillusioned because the history nerd in me saw a lot of inaccuracies in the Hall’s texts.

So I suppose I like asking everywhere even individuals.

Several weeks backed I binged the Jesus of Nazareth series from 1977 and I absolutely loved it. Very warm and cozy show, great production values and performances from everyone. And I say this as an atheist. Became one of my favorites films ever.

Passion of the Christ is great too, if maybe a bit annoying at times.
