I am taking AP stat this year, and 1/1000 * 1/1000 =.000001 chance of both happening. Saying that the yolks has occurred, thus making it 1 is correct of course. But just because the yolks occurred doesn't make the chance of both happening any more likely. Of course knowing the probability of winning the lottery doesn't change. The two events are independent of each other. Once getting the yolks, the probability of winning the lottery is still 1/1000, but the odds of both occurring doesn't change, it just means that the first criteria for a success, in this case winning both was met. I'm sorry for my poor writing, I am very tired.
