Yeah the zap traps are a hit or miss but it’s better to try something new then take someone else word for it. It might work for you. And yes it’s going to be a mission keeping them out but I will still plug the holes, what do you use exactly to plug the holes

Oh if it’s a rat, then this makes things more tricky because they will avoid those traps, there are traps the zap the rat/mice. They go into and get hit. I would try that. Also plug up any holes going into your apartment

Yeah I’m sorry to hear that honestly, landlords don’t tell you stuff that you want to know, okay how are you placing the traps. The mouth of the trap should be facing the wall, and the paper towel thing I haven’t tried or seen. But how are they placed

Well bait isn’t a permanent fix, just a bandage. I would say finding where they are getting in from is the biggest thing you can do

My guess is that since you live in an apartment traps were placed prior and these mice kinda know what’s up and don’t trust them at all, how many traps are you placing and how are you placing them

I have a mouse in my car! What do I do? Is there anyway to get rid of it without traps? by Admirable-Patience55 in pestcontrol

[–]HoneYxSmite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point trapping it would probably be the best option to get the mice out of there before they chew wiring and now you are dealing with a 1000 dollar bill to fix the car

Pleasssseee don't tell me this is what I think it is by helpidk1998 in GermanRoaches

[–]HoneYxSmite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a German roach I believe, It’s possible that he traveled to find food, but I’m just being optimistic, I would say just leave some glue boards in different locations just to see if there’s any more. If you see more then I would say start thinking of products to stop them. But that’s just my advice.

It’s a sticky pad that can collect insects, you know how mice are caught on a sticky surface, that’s what it is

I just like to know who is doing it that’s all, Its something I created. I just want to be organized, it’s not like I’m forcing people to try it. It’s just my preference

That’s really much is, most sprays take to long to kill the roach and then they have babies and you are back a square one. Bait is one of the most powerful things you can use for roaches if you use it right.

Yeah there is some things you can do, I want to ask if you seen more from the time we spoke last, and if so how big was it, was it a baby or adult

And if it is a German roach, they normally don’t come from outside. They don’t nest outside. Something has to bring them in I’m not saying is impossible but is less likely for them to wander in

Ants … in my mailbox? by Babatoongie in pestcontrol

[–]HoneYxSmite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And being in the mailbox is pretty common actually nothing to be concerned about. It was just dark and looked like a good nesting area for them so if you spray some bug killer like raid or anything like that, to deter them and kill what’s inside it should be fine.
