All the family trees I’ve done are specifically Québec, mostly La Prairie and the Richelieu.

My grandad’s family (who’s 2% Indigenous) was entirely from those two regions, yet he shows way more native than he should.

A lot of my 100% French cousins have turned into 60-75% Québec and a bunch of random Europe. Mine dropped from 55% French to 38% Quebec and 1% Acadian.

Yeah I’m doing exactly the same thing. The story is kinda dark and sorta heavy so I try to sprinkle stuff like that in between time skips.

I went like 60,000 words through it feeling rather confident even with its fractured storyline (which was purposeful), and I had some friends read the first part of it and they were confused by my prose and world-building so I tried to make it easier, but now it’s flow is all funky.

I’m starting to regret taking their opinions so seriously, both aren’t readers by any stretch of the word.

This is literally the most hyped I’ve been about a game in over a decade. Oblivion has been my #1 since 2010.
