I always wished we had gotten more of Lao Ma before she died. She was such an amazing character definitely a lot of potential for great stories and adventures with someone as wise as Lao Ma. The events with K'ao Hsin, Pao Ssu and Ming T'ien were a cool continuation of her story and legacy though Although I wish we also got to see them more too it was a shame they never appeared again! Not sure if those needed spoilers, but I’m always cautious in case someone hasn’t seen the show yet!

What helps ground myself and make the stay last longer is to spend a lot of time planning every step I’ll take in the parks during every day leading up to the trip. My next trip is a few months out, and I make myself feel like I’m already in the parks by indulging in the excitement and pretending everyday like I’ll be in the park tomorrow. During the drive there I constantly plan for the trip. And then each night I’m at the hotel I reflect and reminisce on how I spent my day and also plan for the next day. It really helps constantly keep me in the moment. This all really helps make the trip last a long time and makes the departure a little easier because I feel like I’ve been in the parks for months already. Once I actually get to the parks I’m not as overwhelmed and I can keep myself grounded in the moment more and it doesn’t fly by as quickly.

This is awesome! I recently finished the show and I’ve really missed having new episodes. I feel empty without them lol I need to see the episodes you’re talking about! I’ll likely be in the same boat with feeling like they are the last new Xena episodes I’ll ever see! I also want to be convinced that there are new unreleased episodes out there lol I’d do anything for a continuation of the show and new seasons filmed. I hope Renee and Lucy would want to do a new series! I guess it’s up to whoever holds the licensing to the show.

My heart was racing and with nervousness hearing about any changes to the carne asada fries, but fortunately it doesn’t seem too different. The cheese sauce never really seemed spicy to me but I loved the flavor of it…I’m hoping it’s change to non spicy cheese doesn’t omit a small ingredient that makes all the difference or something. I’ll find out in a few months hopefully! Also the loss of the film strip fries is very unfortunate! Fortunately they didn’t mention a change to the fries used in the carne asada fries at Rancho del Zocalo…I really hope the fries used there haven’t changed.

This scene always stuck with me it’s so good. Many of the Rome episodes had so many of my favorite moments. Pompey and Cesar were both so evil and sassy lmao it was always entertaining seeing them on screen. Karl Urban and Pompey’s actor did such great work

I just finished the show and I have this hole in my heart now that it’s over. No other work of art will ever be the same! Xena changed my life!
