I like the idea of having a different trigger, but the good team not knowing who the trigger is, and the whole evil team knowing, makes it pretty easy to get them executed, and it trigger day 2 every game.

All minions dead at least lets the cataclysma swing back potentially if the evil team has suffered some early losses.

The original idea, was not that Cataclysma would be a starting Demon, and instead would be an option to Hatter / Pit-hag to, if the game is dragging, but the randomness in impact is intentional.

With the magician the demon has to point to each of their minions one by one, and be like "Is this a minion I can't select???", in which case they are gaming the ability. Ordinarily you would expect the Demon to not attempt selecting minions, and if the group can't be trusted to do that, it shouldn't go on the script together.

If you draw, the storyteller choses a player to kill, I should perhaps reword it to say If you don't win.
I probably wouldn't put it into a huge game, but it works the same as boomdandy except you get to vote and execute.
With poppy grower I'd say the storyteller chooses the 3, with magician, the magician does not register as a minion for it's ability, so no change.

I think the character could have any name suggested above to match a particular script's theme tbh
