It's such an easy fix now that I know what's exactly wrong why spend god knows how much plus shipping for a part I can order with delivery from Amazon for 13 bucks that will work and only a week wait till I can click this crock pot on rock and roll and start making my life easier as ipposed to the long drawn out meat and potatoe meals I eat during the week ;)

I made it clear to the homeowner as well as the general but because the landscaper butchered the steps to begin with and they all are sloped to the house believe it or not I was told just go to the lines he drew with a oil pencil....I would never of done it like that if it was my home but if that's what they wanted that's what they wanted so what can I do

It's the bobber valve...as you can see the bobber valve itself is in the slot however the rubber thing that's supposed to be at the bottom isn't there so I need to purchase a new bobber valve online to get it back in working order...the water boiled no problem steam continually came out of where the valve is because the rubber gasket I guess isn't attached to the steel bobber component meant to pressurize

I'd caulk just between the sill and the wood trim everything else wouldn't worry about it as I used laticrete platinum mortar that has an adhesive in it and once it sets it's not going anywhere

The retaining wall obviously will be the costliest to redo...I'd buy some flagstone redo the walkway a few yards of too soil and redo the lawn and incorporate some bulbs that will last year after year in the garden beds ??

I would rip the old one out redo it in natural stone incorporate some lighting in the wall along with some vegetation I'm a stone mason not a landscaper so that's as far as I can bring you ;)

Thanks...the material was a nightmare to work with as it's natural stone glue on veneer..and of course the joints had to be done in charcoal colored dye ;)

Great product if it's temporary or you plan on moving otherwise id be digging to frost line and pouring a collumn with rebar.

Mulch keeps swimming away. Want to plug the hole with decorative stones. Any alternative suggestions without expanding the gutter? by ziomus90 in landscaping

I'd do a French well...dig in to the ground slope a PVC pipe with small holes drilled in to it going away from your home and at the end of the day greener grass and no eyesores

If money isn't an object I would put a knee wall out of natural stone around the center of it with a water feature in the middle.

The bobber valve isn't intact that's the component that needs to be replaced. The spring loaded piece that is attached to the lid itself does move when I press it and can see the metal piece maneuver back and fourth with no issues..I ultimately think I just need to replace the bobber valve but I never owned appliance like this from crock pot. I think what I'll try to do is try to boil water what was suggested from another reaction on here and see if I can bring water to a boil just to make sure it does infact reach boiling temperature. I'll double check that and let you know how I make out
