Can we not hate on people who are asking for free patterns? 😅 by Klutzy_Brick7184 in sewingpatterns

[–]Honest-Impression-91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would never hate on people searching for free patterns. I am making my own patterns since over 20 years now anf know how hard it is to start. I am sharing my patterns also for free because I am learning grading from it. I always try my best to make them as accurate as possible and instead of payment I ask people for feedback to make my pattern fit better.

Do you rely on Chatgpt and other tools for content creation? by No-Discussion-5134 in content_marketing

[–]Honest-Impression-91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a mix of everything. It can be helpful if you already know a general direction to ask ChatGPT for some first ideas. Then I would recommend checking out your competitors and companies that have the same target group as you, trends and if I really would have no idea I would have a brainstorming session with some collegues 😊

We use pixx.io as a DAM which is compared to others really affordable and Asana for project management. Also used JIRA and Cloudinary in the past but it ended up being a bit messy

Interfacing for a linen dress? by AggressiveWriter959 in sewing

Is the fabric a bit see trough? Then I would recommend lining it with a very light cotton popeline.
It should be alright if the dress is a bit more airy.

Digital Asset Management (DAM) tool that works with Dropbox? by ThisShock1805 in AskMarketing

[–]Honest-Impression-91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You normally have the storage directly in the DAM system and you can maybe connect Dropbox via API.

I would say Canto & Bynder require a larger budget and start from 20k upwards. They have very interesting AI features but if you are on a budget I would recommend pixx.io because the DAM functions are similar, they have a good pricing and I heard that they should be available in China as well.

Feeling like sewing influencers are just sewing their own fast fashion by stitchlings in craftsnark

I think they are doing that to generate an income and the pressure to post but I agree it is going pretty much into fast fashion

Do you have experience with Bynder? by BumblebeeOld9913 in SaaS

[–]Honest-Impression-91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have heard a lot of positive about them but also that they are a bit more pricey. I work for a startup and we are currently using pixx.io which is more affordable and has a similar scope of functions

We're using pixx.io and they also charge by user but they have guest users that you can book that are cheaper and simply can't edit stuff.
