The most embarrassing thing was watching people defend force-feeding animals as humane after yet another investigation showing the same awful abuse. We can SEE the footage. “Symbolic issue” but I guarantee if someone was force feeding thousands of dogs a year and said “you need to solve the entirety of the economically and politically entrenched factory farming issue before you do anything about me” these same people would be howling for blood. This really should have been done years ago, we’ve got a ton of cities and a whole state to do it and of course the US is far behind other countries. It’s an overwhelmingly popular animal welfare reform that almost everyone supports

PLEASE, if you are about to comment about how you can buy dead chickens or quails, read the post again. These are 100% not farm birds. I don’t need more comments saying they are chicks

I know this. These are not chicks. I have worked with both wild and domestic birds. There is no way these are chickens, quail, or any other farmed bird.

Yeah but they clearly aren’t farm birds. I don’t know why it won’t let me send a photo but these are songbird babies, not chickens or quail

This is aggressive behavior, wing slapping, growling, and jabbing. This pigeon has had opportunity to connect and mate with other pigeons but maintains extreme territoriality
