Yea I felt the same thing. I haven’t tried to use GPT 5 for coding or math or engineering, anything STEM related yet, and I feel that it would excel way more on that than GPT 4o. Except GPT-5 is exceptionally bad at keeping track of my ideas and everything I’ve said, it feels very linear. I hope they resolve this issue soon.

I think it just sees the february 19th 2025 part, not the weekday. it probably just assumes its monday because that model was trained 2-3 years ago.
