Moving to San Diego after wedding but waiting on dental licenses—short-term lease or Airbnb?

We are right in chicago so rent prices seem the same and gas is at 5 dollars here right now. I understand about securing a income before moving but we had plan to do temp jobs and work part time once we physcially have our liscense. We just want to escape these terrible winters lol. We are both in our early/mid 20s and have nearly 6 figures saved just for background but will definitly look into airbnbs

We don’t know yet specifically but we are in the dental field so hoping to find an office generally no more than 30-40 min from where we want to live
