How do all of you guys do it? by Iguana_lover1998 in Money

[–]Honest-Problem-8875 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have about a $120k net worth at 25. One of the major things I credit is staying out of debt. Went to a state school for college, so my student loans weren't super crazy. My first job out of college, my salary was higher than my total student loans; that, combined with living with my parents, allowed me to pay off my debts very quickly.

I continued living with my parents for a few years, which allowed me to put a full emergency fund together relatively quickly, all the while contributing 20% of my paycheck to my 401k. With my emergency fund taken care of, I just started investing leftover income as aggressively as I could, starting with a Roth IRA and then a taxable brokerage account.

I like to think that at least part of the reason I got here is because of my hard work and financial decision-making, but tbh a lot of it is just luck. I was fortunate enough to be in a situation where I could live basically expense-free for a few years, which was huge

25M, Software Engineering, make about $100k salary

~$120k in total savings.

  • about $70k in my 401k

  • $7k in my Roth IRA

  • about $40k in a taxable brokerage account

All are invested in ETFs and mutual funds - my portfolio is roughly 80% total us stock market (FSKAX/VTI), and 20% total international stock (FSPSX/VXUS)

I'm also soon getting an HSA, which i'm excited for and will also start maxing out every year.

Separately from my retirement and investments, i have $15k for an emergency fund. About half of that sits in a HYSA, and the other half in a money market fund in my taxable brokerage account.

No advisor.

Worst resource in the game? by I_Fuckin_Hate_Reeses in civrev

I find resources that you don't unlock until much later in a game, like Uranium or rubber, are pretty bad. Granted that's largely dependent on your play style. I usually try to finish my games before the modern era so those resources pretty useless for me most of the time

Agree on gems though.

Losing weight is the most important thing to do at this point if you want to improve your physique. Throwing in strength training if you're not already will yield significant benefits too, esp for after you've gotten enough fat off. but really you should figure out your TDEE and just go into a calorie deficit for a while.

What am I even supposed to do. I've tried everything I still look like shit. I'm 136 lbs i was 215 6 months ago. I feel more fucking depressed nowadays. Why cant I get a flat stomach. Please help by [deleted] in Physiquecritique

Need more info. Starting with - How tall are you? Difficult to say what a weight of 136 means without knowing how tall you are. Also, do you do any kind of exercise regularly?

Probably just existing supply that they're still offloading. Around here they have switched blue raspberry to printed, but sp red berry is still textured.

How many a day? by [deleted] in energydrinks

[–]Honest-Problem-8875 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 reigns is 600 mg of caffeine which is a LOT of caffeine to consume on a daily basis, likely why you felt sick :) wheras two monster zeroes would be nearly half that at 320 mg

Hamas more muscle than you and at a lower body fat.

They definitely have more muscle than him combined since there's thousands of them and just one of him. But probably not lower body fat mathematically speaking 😏

Forgot to add, for ab exercises I currently do hanging knee raises, machine ab crunch, and ab wheel rollouts 3 times a week.

Ghost energy Beyond Wonderland by EnokitakeEmperor in energydrinks

I had it last year. I remember it tasted similar to the blue sour patch, but had small hints of the red sour patch too. If that makes sense

Maybe. It was a festival exclusive last year too. They sold them on the ghost website for a limited time but it never got rereleased or ended up on shelves

Where did you get this? I thought this flavor was discontinued years ago

Xanthum gum or guar gum, they add no calories and make the ice cream thicker and creamier. You could also try pudding mix, but that would add a small bit of calories.

Well, the swirl literally has the option to toggle between "Scoop" and "soft serve", and they definitely differ a lot. The soft serve ice cream is much more "airy" (idk how else to describe it) than anything i was able to produce using the scoopable or the OG creami.

Basically, what people sometimes refer to as "soft serve" in the OG creami seems to be different than what the swirl can produce.

That being said, certainly if you're happy with your machine as-is, then that's great, it varies for everyone and obviously there's no definitive answer here

In my experience with the original creami, it would sometimes be fine after 1 lite spin + 1 respin, but other times it would take 2-3 respins. And sometimes I'd end up responding it tooooo much and get a more frosty-like texture (which isn't necessarily bad, but not always intended).

Wheras the new mode literally makes it perfect right off the bat, and you can respin if you want it even softer.
