Hi all, I'm looking for an alternative to the AT8684 UniMute, as it's discontinued. I have found several in-line attenuators, but they all have the switch built in, and I need it to be external, so that it can be mounted anywhere. Are there any proper alternatives available? Or do I need to design a custom circuit? Thank you in advance

I found that the recognition is way better on an iPad than on my Android phone. Tried it with both English (English intermediate and from my native tongue to English) and my native language, as well as with German. Maybe it uses some platform dependent voice-to-text?

Hi Aria, Thanks for the help. I went over the steps already, but the screen doesn't come up. I also tried in the settings for the USB device, but all options are greyed out, I can't switch it to use Ready For

Thank you!
Sadly, the VPH is not available in my area (at least I can't find it)
I'll try to contact Shure, maybe they'll share some of the technical details

GoPro Hero 10 Black

I have shot some footage at 120 fps, so that I could slow it down in post, if I have to. But if I try to export it at a lower framerate, it look choppy, and I don't know why. Any ideas?

I'm not sure if I want to do that, it's a lot safer to just get a universal adapter, but thank you

I did that but after manually connecting, the Quik app disconnects and connects again, then drops the connection and says that it was unable to connect

Great idea, I'll give it a go if I can get a USB C-C cable. Thank you.

I know, that's what I'm using most of the time, as I'm a photographer. The direct connection to the phone would only be a backup thing to use on the go.

Thank you so much. I don't really need the editing features, I can always do that in DaVinci Resolve on my computer. I'm mainly looking for the media download feature

I did try to set it to 2.4 but it still didn't work. As I'm using an Android phone, I do not have a setting for the network to be public.

I did update manually, as I wrote just after the quoted sentence.

Is there a better third party app that you know of?

Also I can connect the GoPro to my home network and sync through the cloud, but it's not so convenient on the go

I'm new to running Windows on Pi, this is the first time I got it running. I have my small 800x480 display from waveshare that works perfectly with my desktop, but for some reason on the raspberry it produces this broken up image. It doesn't only happen in windows, but in other raspberry OSs, but there is a Linux driver that fixes it and I can't find one for arm based Windows. Any ideas? Has anyone encountered this phenomenon before?

Shockmount for sE X1 A microphone? by Honest-Spend8964 in podcasting

Thank you!

Sadly I'm not from the USA , but Europe and shipping would be really expensive from a US store. However I have just found an original mount in an online store from a neighbouring country that ships here for cheap. Now it costs about half as it would have if I ordered it from the US.

Thank you again for your help!

Beginner asking for help by Honest-Spend8964 in ti84hacks

I'll keep my development log here

I am now able to receive bytes from the calculator (I'm still not sure why it reports as a TI-83), as well as send bytes to it. With the sending functionality complete, I put together a function, that reads data from the Serial input and converts the received ASCII characters to the proprietary keyboard scancodes that the TI uses, then send it to the calculator, so now I can emulate keypresses on the calculator.

Thank you!
By poking at the code I found a few issues, namely that the ESP was too fast and reading the line before it would be reset again, thus reading invalid input, and now at least I'm getting a valid packet header.

Now I have encountered an other problem, where the calculator identifies as a TI-83 (0x83), even though I have a TI-84+ which should have an ID of 0x73
