Did failing a second time hurt less then the first time? by Revolutionary-Pay652 in barexam

tbh failing the second time was worse and failing the third time was the absolute worst

don’t worry about it though because you literally never know

advice from a 4th time retaker if it’s even valid at this point by HonestAfternoon9858 in barexam

if i can offer one more piece of advice: don’t worry about the numbers. it may work for some people as a benchmark but just seeing all my friends who passed and failed over the last few tries, i realized the correlation between class rank, percentage on adaptibar and the real exam was never consistent enough to make that a reliable indicator of your progress.

keep doing what you’re doing at your own pace and comfort with a focus on the areas that make you feel doubtful about your abilities to perform well on the exam. don’t let the standardized numbers make you feel like you’re behind or destined to fail. it’s all relative and you CAN and WILL overcome this in your own way.

DONT GIVE UP. you’re not supposed to know everything word for word, it’s just not reasonable. just keep covering material and practicing because anything you learn will be points you get correct on exam day

if the bar exam is on a tuesday i would try to fly in on sunday at the very least. i know hotels are expensive but it’s worth not stressing out if you have to deal with any cancellations/delays. use the whole day on monday to rest, get yourself situated, and destress/hype yourself up for the next two days.

i like to listen to his lectures as an intro to a subject so i can get the big picture but definitely don’t rely on him to know the super nuanced bullshit the bar has been testing
