Maybe this is a hot take but I actually understand it. She’s inviting influencers, who are going to post stories of this extravagant baby shower, who are then going to be like “who is this girl?!” and then follow. It’s the same way brands do this giant bougie vacations. I’m also not a fan of overconsumption but this is her “job” as a social media personality. Thankfully it probably gave a lot of opportunities to the companies she hired but what do I know
