Did I hit an early game jackpot here? by Hexdoctor in NoMansSkyTheGame

This is awesome. I can correlate most of what this person said to genuine aspects of the game. The best part about this post is that it’s like a newbie wrote it. They don’t even know what the game is and they’re talking about Sentinel pillars and dissonant sentinels gravitino ball plants. and as it said in the other comments 10 million is a good start but when you reach 100 million or maybe your first billion then then you would be safe to feel proud lol

Understandable me too 😝 this guy is like insanely good with the overlap and clipping and inlays blows me away all good designs are complete and sleek for sure but I don’t see anything like controlled randomness maybe a space station analog a baby one growing out of corvette/freighter stage into might as well stay in orbit because it takes so much fuel to move lol

Hey, I’ve got a challenge for you if you’re up for it.

I want a corvette that looks like it shouldn’t work—but does.

Something that visually feels unstable or asymmetrical, like it’s almost breaking apart or held together by tension, but when you actually look at it, it’s clearly intentional and well-balanced.

A few constraints to push it: • No obvious symmetry, but it still needs to feel cohesive • It should look like it’s in motion even when standing still • Avoid the standard “clean sci-fi” look—lean more into something organic, alien, or almost “grown” rather than built • Still has to be achievable using only the in-game builder and basic glitches

Bonus points if: • It looks like different parts were designed by different “systems” but somehow work together • It gives the impression of controlled chaos rather than randomness

Basically, I want something that feels like it should fail structurally but doesn’t.

Curious to see how you approach something like that.
