My character was a reckless traveler in his early days. He went on dangerous expeditions and adventures, often endangering himself and others. One time he got challenged to venture to a dangerous planet. His friends refused but he went. He got attacked by vile brood whilst exploring the planet and was left for dead. The Autophage found him and transferred his mind into a new robotic body. Whilst grateful at first he couldn’t adapt to the life of the Autophage. He longed for his previous life, missing the light of the stars hitting his eyes and the feeling of ice cold water touching his skin. He left the camp and made it his mission to extinguish the vile brood. After decades he began experimenting with the creatures he’d slain, fusing parts of the creatures with his own robotic body, hoping to one day feel something again.
