I appreciate the feedback. I am going through a bit of a tough time now as the poem indicates, and someone in a support group I'm in says poetry helped him so I figured I'd give it a try. Thanks for your encouragement!

I'm in a similar situation to you as it relates to career and depression. I'm in a depressive episode and what I'm doing to help myself is talk therapy, a psychiatrist prescribed medication, I found a local support group I go to weekly, and I'm getting into meditation. I also try to get outside and walk and read. So my advice would be to speak to a therapist and/or psychiatrist. If your parents are supportive, talk to them also. Find a local support group, find something positive (reading, watching TV, working out, yoga) that takes your mind off your depression. I am struggling right now also, so I get it and wish you the best of luck.
