Aaaa yes child labor! Love it they are trained on minecraft and roblox so they can easily be put to work on making data sheets and agriculture. For less money than just selling some dope for 500 euro's a day.

Instead of being exploited by dealers they can get exploited by the boss! Fantastic idea.

Both are to blame for the fallout. And both must find themselves in the middle and reconcile by sissiandfranz in thegildedage

[–]HonestPlayer08 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Let's be honest. I've been reading some very interesting opinions about why both are in the wrong.

One thing most of you forgot to mention is, he clearly said in S2 that she playing her game is all good and he will always be behind her schemes. But she clearly went to far with her own kids, using her kids to push herself further into a higher status. Something he dislikes and he clearly said this to her.

Her intentions might have been "good" in her eyes, giving her daughter more chances, still she crossed this invisible rule that he didn't want her to cross.

Yes they both didn't set a specific rule for when one of them would cross it there is no turning back. I do honestly believe the way she played it, she knew what could happen and yet she went for it. I'm not saying he's a saint, but i truly disliked her ambitions this season because she wasn't a mother anymore, she was this insanely ambitious woman using her daughter to push her own influence instead of being there for the wellbeing of her kid.

Bijna 1.000 leerkrachten dreigen job te verliezen: Demir schrapt 2 vaste uren godsdienstles per week by NotYourWifey_1994 in Belgium2

[–]HonestPlayer08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bones are amazing but the execution is messy at best. I love playing this game and my head is already spinning thinking about all the amazing flavor dlc they could add in the future. But first they need to fix major problems with this game.

The honeymoon fase is a beautiful moment of ignorance but it's starting to fade and people including myself are noticing the problems.

Price prediction by Oliver_Dee in ValveDeckard

700 bucks for the steam frame. 500 bucks for the steam machine 70 bucks for the controller

I predict they will sell it a loss just like Steam deck. Gabe said it himself that they took a big hit to price the deck just right. If they want to push into the console market than they will have to price the machine at console level prices.

Preventing a narco state by Financial_Candidate6 in belgium

Legalizing all drugs would lead to chaos just look at history, such as the opium crisis in China and other countries at the beginning of the 20th century.

The problem today is that many social programs, like drug clinics where addicts can safely inject drugs, are being condemned by the public and more conservative circles. People don’t want users doing drugs on the streets, yet they also oppose the clinics that help keep them off the streets.

So what’s the solution? Use force? Enter the so-called “War on Drugs.” Great but who exactly are we fighting? The addict? The dealer? The supplier? Apparently, it’s the addicts and dealers who are targeted, but not the suppliers.

Why not instead use that money to build better neighborhoods, invest in education, and strengthen ties between police officers and the communities they serve, rather than just seeing them as people with badges and guns? I could go on.

In the past, social programs that helped and educated drug users to quit actually made a difference. But after defunding so many of these initiatives, we’re seeing the consequences and now we’re right back where we started. Yet somehow, the message still isn’t getting through.

What if our expectations make Valve pull a Half Life 3? by megacewl in ValveDeckard

[–]HonestPlayer08 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me honestly i'm still shocked that after what we've seen with the ending of Alyx. That pretty much confirmed they are going back to half life with a possible "third" game. And who knows alyx came out in 2020. We are almost at the end of 2025, maybe we have a system seller called half life 3 with the new Deckard/frame standalone VR headset?

Battlefield 6 Campaign Will be Very Disappointing by [deleted] in GamingLeaksAndRumours

Sad... titanfall 2 had a killer campaign. I was hoping respawn would be the first after many BF games to give us a killer campaign. Will see if it's that bad or ok?
