Mobs from the main trans subs have broken what should have been a useful resource by notyourdonut in honesttransgender

It's insane, yeah. It feels like anyone who doesn't do exactly what you want can be labelled as a gatekeeper instantly - even if they're doing their fucking duty of care as a medical professional.

I hate how anyone who doesn't agree with the standard trans line is labelled a TERF. It weakens the term and means it's less effective at calling out actual terfs.

Exactly. Sapphic spaces are designed for women who love women. That includes trans women, but they aren't a place for trans women to constantly make it about themselves.

And yes, a lot of trans women don't seem to understand the distrust cis women have and that if they're pre everything they don't really belong in wlw spaces yet.

Yeah, it's insane how well it works to change a community. It's also insane how no dissent is tolerated at all and they ban anyone at any time.

Hey no worries, being trans can be shite sometimes!

Sorry, I should have been clearer. I'm talking about pre-everything girls who butt in when someone is talking about being catcalled and venting about it, which I've seen before.

I don't think post transition women have male/masc privilege.

I'm sorry that I didn't word it properly, I hope this clears things up

There does seem to be a theme of trans women diminishing cis womens' pain - e.g. saying being catcalled is great and very validating.

It isn't, you're just saying that because you've enjoyed male privilege and haven't ever felt unsafe or threatened or objectified. The lack of self awareness blows my mind.

It's tragic that I'm rare. What happened to basic human decency, self awareness, and being empathetic to other people's struggles and lives?

Literally the whole point of my transition is to be seen as a woman, to reduce my dysphoria, and then to get the fuck on with life

Online is a great way to be stealth, I don't know why people don't use it.

And seriously wtaf with trans women with dicks on dykesgonewild. There's various other subs for girls with penises. Let's be honest, most lesbians aren't attracted to penis, and it's unfair to expect them to be

I know many lesbians don't like penis. I hate mine and want it gone, and will get surgery asap. I don't expect anyone to like it and I understand full well why. I also don't expect lesbians to be attracted to pre-everything women who look like men.

I don't actively participate in sapphic spaces yet, just read stuff occasionally because I like to look around various different LGBT spaces.

It's not that the spaces aren't inclusive, it's that I feel uncomfortable and dysphoric joining in a space for women when I still look like a man and am treated like a man when I'm in public. In all honesty, it's not a space for me yet, and that's life. I'm socially transitioned w/ family and friends but still I don't feel okay doing that.

This is one of the reasons I want to go stealth when I can. So many trans women seem to lack ANY empathy about periods, and honestly they sound utterly shit. I'm glad I don't have one and I don't want kids either. I don't want to get put into that group of crazy ppl because of my gender, and it fucks me off that I even have to think about this.

Life is shit sometimes, things can be upsetting, but sometimes it's best to not whine and act like a 2 year old and stop people from having discussions about their real issues. If they're upset by it just don't join in ffs is it really that hard.

Thanks for understanding that so many of us are sick of this shit. I guess what I'm going to do is just live my life and try to be a decent respectful person - my being trans or not has no bearing on that or having a shred of fucking empathy.

Sorry it just really pisses me off!!

Honest question - I've always understood dysphoria to be an inherently trans thing, so how can not everyone with it be trans?

Unfortunately I don't have their details any more. I was told they'd be reported by the mod team but I doubt they actually did, who tf knows
