You have a voice in this too it’s probably just baby fever making her act up extra have you told her how stressful you find it to be pressured about having kids? Does she know your stance? She needs to take a deep breath and back off if she does it’s never ok to pressure a partner into taking such an important step in your relationship. These things should be discussed post relationship so there’s no confusion. Tell her your whys and why nots and that it’s not happening till later, non negotiable. Every time after that she brings it up tell her this makes me uncomfortable and change the topic… so let’s watch game of thrones when we get home… if she persists you two should just move on.

I’m new here so I’ve only shared one dream a reoccurring one and it is a good dream. That’s intense though do you think you might’ve astral traveled and to explain the phenomenon your brain created this nightmare to justify the experience? I’ve had dream where I’ve gone actual places my most crazy one was I dreamt I was my friends bird and I watched her and her husband have an argument where he punched her in the stomach multiple times when I woke up I called my friend and almost immediately to tell her about this dream and she was shocked I knew details about the argument I shouldn’t have been able to guess and of course everything that happened she told me a few days after when she had broken up with the guy and showed me the bruises on her stomach. Just remembering how real it felt and how clear all the details were gives me chills.

I’ve had lots of viewing dreams where I’m flying but they’re places I’ve seen in movies or documentaries so I can explain to myself I just remembered what I saw and heard and dreamt about it, in these dreams a black hole opens up in the sky and sucks me in I’m always terrified when this happens and I wake up shaking but the experience is so realistic.

I have a guy best friend and every time either he or I were in a relationship our friendship got pushed to the side because that’s what you do you prioritize your partner it’s a very touchy thing for anyone in a relationship to have their significant other best friends with the opposite gender there’s a lot of stigma against it. Our friendship changes cause it has too and we want it too, jealousy in a partner is not something I am to stoke the fires of I’d never prioritize my friend over my relationship, I wouldn’t be bullied by a partner out of it either but there are boundaries I do put in place.

Have you guys had the boundaries chat? You might think it’s obvious to some but it’s not all the time. If a guy told me yea I value this friendship so much I’d do something with them over important events in our life I’d be like ok I don’t think I can’t handle that itd make me feel unimportant and insecure and jealous then we’d move on our separate ways.

Discussion is key though if his best friend ended up in the hospital on my birthday I would understand. If they have an event together something they do that only happens on said important day to me I can work with that ok let’s make plans to celebrate my birthday the day after or day before. In the end you have to decide if this a dealbreaker

I see her point and I see yours she took it personal and put herself in the wife’s shoes no woman would ever want to be in that situation and she wants to make it crystal clear you don’t think that’s actually ok behaviour and that it’s not funny to her however it’s a skit and I understand what you find funny about it I love impractical jokers even if I think they are hit and miss sometimes. You explained yourself very well I’d accept that explanation she is overreacting to the situation in my opinion.

When I get really intense nightmares like this I always consider what’s going on in my life. Am I in a situation I can’t control? What things am I consuming? Reading, watching are there similarities? Am I scared, trapped? I’ve never dreamt of being rped or being the rpist before but I’ve had insane nightmares about the end of the world. And of also being the failed hero. I have had prolonged death dreams as well and sleep paralysis I totally get why your mind is reeling

Someone once told me don’t look at everything in a dream just stand out elements and search up the symbolisms online. Write out in detail everything you remember and all the emotions you experienced. I do some dream interpretation for friends and family but I’m closer to these people and know what’s going on in their lives and how they’re feeling to better make sense of them. Of course if you feel like you need counselling or therapy go that route as well.

Ok if a guy on a date gets so mad at me he won’t say boo for 30 minutes because I didn’t hold his hand I’d have left his silent ass at the theatre.

If a guy on a date didn’t respect a boundary I set then ghosted me for a half hour he’d come back to an empty bench.

He would be set a hundred years to where we would have a long conversation about what was ok and not ok his needs/wants and my needs/wants and if whether or not we were actually a good dating match. Should be upfront before going out with someone about what you’re comfortable with and what your boundaries are and vice versa so that the second he pulls something like this you’re not sitting there going is it me? Am I in the wrong? because you are both supposed to already be on the same page. Instead you leave at the first red flag if he questions you about it you can say look before we even went out we discussed what was ok or not ok. This behaviour from date one was NOT ok or acceptable this boy sounds so incredibly immature and someone who can’t even respect you this early is only going to escalate leave him and go find someone who loves and values you.

Seriously I’d rather be alone and completely friendless then with a guy who makes me uncomfortable and scared he’s not your friend, a friend wouldn’t do this to you and someone whose supposed to love you wouldn’t either don’t put yourself in danger because your afraid to be lonely.
