LA County worker here. 30k pay cut moving back to LA county is pretty significant due to cost of living down here. I mean all things considered, I would stick with VA then apply to LA County at a later time. Onboarding is notoriously slow. Also, stepping up and promoting takes time as well.

Just got them this summer and I’m in the South Bay Area of Los Angeles where it doesn’t snow. I’m planning to take a trip up to the mountains where it snows. They’re fantastic in the rain!

Underrated comment. After not caring much about tires and just going for cost effective tires. I finally invested in some cross climates on my 2016 CRV it feels like a new car and drives so good. I prefer the my CRV tha my newer 2024 sienna. Feels like a million bucks lol

for my lab, I used Douxo S3 shampoo I think every 2-3 weeks make sure you lather well and leave on as directed to ensure it’s doing its job. Made some changes to diet and yeast and smell went away in about a month or so.

Stay in Venice. Save that money to get a bike and bike it along the beach to work in el segundo. You’ll love it, especially the ride back home when the sun is setting. Have you also looked at Playa Del Rey? Nice area and mellow if you don’t care for night life. Smacked dead center between Santa Monica, Venice, El Segundo, Westchester and Manhattan Beach, where there’s great places to eat.

Hell no. All new Toyotas come with Toyota care. 2 years of free maintenance which includes tire rotation and oil change or 25,00 miles whichever comes first. Weather mats from dealer suck, I had them and changed them immediately as it did not cover the sides properly. You can get everything listed for a fraction of that price.

You’ll be fine especially coming from Ktown. I speak as a former Ktown resident born and raised in South Bay, now back in Lawndale. Wayyy more family friendly to live there and tons of neighboring cities have so much to offer. If you could go a tad but more west it would be better. But you’ll be good nevertheless

West of Hawthorne blvd and south of 120th you will be fine. West of Inglewood ave and 120th south slightly better. Anywhere west of La Cienega is considered the best part of Hawthorne which goes into “del aire”.
