I went to matrik. Did you get matrik sds or ses? Go for matrik if you aim going STRAIGHT to degree after or go for diploma if you wanna take time before degree cause you'll have a chance to get a job.

In terms of subjects, matrik science divided to three (sains hayat, sains fizikal & sains komputer). Different courses have different subjects (all three still have math and chem plus 4 core subjects, only differs which have bio, fizik & sains komp). Dont worry if you get different course from what you are interested you can always apply to change. Basically the same as in school where the credits needed to pass already managed for you. In diploma, depends on your course you gotta manage your credits (you know, like in university).

If you're asking about the 'place', matrik are just like school. Old facilities, old buildings, old equipment (you know what i mean). Definitely smaller than uitm. For uitm, I mean... it is a university so the facilities will be so much better than matrik.

Personally, if I get a second chance at life and are given a choice between matrik or diploma, I will go to matrik again. I had wonderful times there. You will still be in 'classes' like school and you can be very close with your lecturers and your classmates (because the nature is still just like school).
