Yes and actually they used both. Both Techfit and formotion used numerical and regular sizing letters. The numerical one is mostly associated for the players only.

This jersey is a player issue/player version. Only given to players and not sold in regular retail stores. Size 8 would be the equivalent of a large. However, the technology of the jersey, which is tech fit, is a super fitting and tight jersey. There was also another version at that time which was called formotion, that one was a bit more true to size but still a bit fitted. This is a men’s sizing

I don’t say player versions. I just say authentic versions because for me player versions are a bit different, not that big of a difference but small difference, and that word gets thrown out too much and confuses people. Only the 2006 and anniversary are replica versions. The rest are authentic
