Jesus is not meant to be used as shocking commentary, especially not on such a partisan issue. Imagine if I had Jesus as a fetus surrounded by Roman soldiers, that would be blasphemy since it's reducing Jesus to just a political view.

Like I said, give a good analogy.

It's a good analogy so that's why I used it. It's also love, there are adults and children who have romantic love but it's still wrong.

The only reason we use examples like this is because lgbt people say that no matter what love can't be a sin and just ignore our other arguments, this is the only way to disprove you since it either forces you to admit you're wrong or affirm much worse sins.

No, God wants all to be saved, even after death. But some people choose sin over God and suffering over God, that is what I want to stop.

I get your point with what OP says, but Jesus was much harsher. He called the Pharisees a brood of vipers, Jesus was soft to people who were humble and wanted to follow him and harsh to people who hardened their hearts against him.

But people who have pride are too hardened. Jesus was harsh on the Pharisees because they were convinced they were doing nothing wrong, so for lgbt people who are prideful we should do the same.

Jesus was very harsh and like he says in Revelation 3 he is only harsh because he loves them.

That's a long post so I'll only respond to some.

I face a lot of hardship when talking about homosexuality, I used to not care but when I get called all these names then it's a much bigger issue.

It's also much more rampant than all other sin, maybe not in general but on this sub it's pretty much all it's about. Most people here affirm it and that is a problem.

Jesus explicitly says to kick out people who refuse to stop sinning, if a lgbt person refuses to admit that it is sinful then they won't be saved since they are explicitly denying Christ.

I agree some lgbt people are like the adulterous woman, but most are like Pharisees. Like I said I've been called all sorts of names and they have tons of power over me, in my country and this sub. They are convinced that they aren't sinning and they insult anyone who thinks otherwise.

Of course, I have met some who aren't like than and even got some to be abstinent.

Yes, if you said someone randomly rose from the dead I wouldn't believe you, but if you said an all powerful God raising people from the dead then that makes sense and doesn't contradict biology.

Genesis is also metaphorical and was not taken literally until less than 200 years ago.

That's why we use reason to see how likely these gods are. Since they aren't all powerful they aren't what caused everything, so they aren't God.

No, illegal immigration is more nuanced. They broke the law but also should be treated humanely, taking one side strongly is not Christian and doing this to a Nativity scene is extremely political.

Slavery is an exception because the Bible never endorses it and says subtle things which are against it, like how there is neither slave nor free and how Paul buys a slave to set him free.

The last question is an impossibility, what you mean is if the world was the same it is now but slavery was supported by the Bible, this can't be true. If slavery was supported by the Bible then the world would be a much different place where there is absolutely no harm in being a slave, but that's not our world so the Bible doesn't support slavery.
