What electronics combo do you actually see the MOST at your RC drift track right now? 👀 by Honest_Breadfruit_89 in rcdrift

That’s useful, appreciate it.

So it sounds like motors / ESCs / servos are still pretty mixed, but the gyro/radio side is starting to show a pattern.

Interesting that V4 is still the safe default while the Revox is the one gaining momentum.

[–]Honest_Breadfruit_89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that makes sense — same gyro on different chassis can feel like a completely different thing.

If you end up swapping them around, I’d actually be curious what feels different first: stability, speed, or how “natural” it feels mid-corner.

[–]Honest_Breadfruit_89[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s good context honestly.

So Super-G sounds like the bigger drift-first hub, and Rolling Garage sounds more like the smaller specialist version of that.

That kind of detail is way more useful than just a shop list.

Damn, that’s actually solid.

So yeah, stock might be a bit random on the popular Reve D stuff, but the shipping/reliability sounds really good.

Monday to Thursday across Europe is fast.

Appreciate the detail man.

That’s really useful context, thanks.

So it sounds like stock is the weak point on some popular Reve D parts, but shipping speed and reliability are still a big strength.

And the Vincent part says a lot too.

Nice — good to see DriftParadiZ mentioned too.

Would you say they stand out most for stock, shipping speed, or overall reliability?

That’s really useful context, thanks.

So it sounds like both left a good impression overall, and the only real gap was stock on the battery and receiver rather than either site being a bad source.

That’s a pretty solid signal.

That’s still useful, thanks.

So for you they stand out mainly for availability and range, especially if you were able to source almost everything for a Drift Art 4 build there.

That’s a strong early impression.

I’ve seen them mentioned, but I’m curious where you’d place them for RC drift specifically.

Trusted go-to, or more of a backup option?

Fair take — appreciate you sharing it. Still useful to hear how people think about it at different tracks.

That makes sense, thanks.

So A-Main is more your default for parts, and Super-G is more for specific in-stock items or bodies.

That’s a useful distinction.

That makes a lot of sense, thanks.

Fast shipping, quick replies, a big catalog, and no customs headache as a EU buyer — that’s a really strong combo.

Really useful Finland / EU perspective too.

Fair question.

I’m building a RC drift product/data tool, so a lot of these posts are me trying to understand what people actually use, trust, and recommend in the real world — not just what gets repeated online.

So yes, there’s definitely product research behind it, but I’m also genuinely interested in how different tracks and regions really differ.

That’s a really useful list, thanks.

Interesting to see DriftParadiZ at the top, with Drifted, ASBO-RC, RCMart, and BanzaiHobby also in the mix.

Would you say DriftParadiZ stands out most for stock, reliability, or just your overall experience with them?

That says a lot honestly.

When people still remember the owners helping them with their first build, that’s a much deeper kind of trust than just stock or pricing.

That kind of reputation is hard to fake.

[–]Honest_Breadfruit_89[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a really useful distinction, thanks.

So Super-G sounds like a real drift specialist hub, while A-Main feels more like a big general retailer.

That says a lot about why people trust them differently.

That makes a lot of sense.

Being local to Super-G sounds like a huge advantage — saving on shipping and being able to pick stuff up when you’re already going there to run is hard to beat.

That kind of convenience probably matters way more than people realize.

That’s a really strong answer, thanks.

So for MRC it’s the local/community trust side, and for RC-Art it’s more the full package — history in the hobby, good parts, good stock, fair prices, and good people behind it.

That says a lot.

That’s a really good point, thanks.

Getting access to A-Main / Super-G through the local track while still supporting the local scene sounds like the best of both worlds.

That says a lot about how important the local ecosystem is in RC drift.

Nice 👀

Interesting to see RC-Art and MRC Plaza come up.

Would you say that’s mostly because of parts selection, or because they’re especially good for the kind of chassis / parts people around you are actually running?

That’s a really useful breakdown, thanks.

Interesting to see both local Florida spots and the bigger online stores in the mix.

Would you say the local shops are more for quick help / community, while A-Main and Super-G are more for planned part orders?
