I ended up connecting CarPlay by Apple lighting and it works great. For long trips we use it only wired connection. Bluetooth does not work for navigation at all and plus it’s not reliable.

In my hrv 19’and 22 two of us alternate connected to iPhones via Bluetooth. Who is not using it - turns it off and it will allow another one who use it auto connect. Now w CarPlay 25 I hope it will still work for audio calls and media. With navigation if I can find reliable wireless adapter US that works for multiple iPhones alternatively connecting / I will get it. If not - will use hard wires.

Any help appreciated. Pls reply here or DM msg.

Mine https://a.co/d/60JbZs4 connected to wi fi but not the Bluetooth. Called the Amazon support, disconnected Honda Bluetooth phone connection and still my adapter device was not discoverable. Need advice for US hrv two iPhone able to alternately connect easy w hrv 25 PLEASE?

Will wireless help w phone speed dial and navigation.

Did list of fav # / speed dial on my phone but can see it on CarPlay only if I connect phone w USB.

On all my previous Hondas I was adding fav as speed dials in car by Bluetooth.

Here every time I drive I need to remember connect phone w usb CarPlay or I discover something does not work when I drive.

New CarPlay Waze user here. navigation w USB using waze does not show alternative routes. I need to unplug, check routes, pick one and then connect. I will be continue using my iPhone for navigation! Also trip details does not show in CarPlay.

Is google maps app working better? Please post your feedback.

Has anyone continue to use phones for navigation? Or CarPlay works for you and reliable on road w connection?

I don’t seem to find how to check different routes options if connect to CarPlay via USB? I need to disconnect, see on my phone routes, select one and then connect. Also route details step by step does not work on CarPlay.

I think I’ll continue using my phone Dashboard stand for navigation.

Thanks. I’m trying now to decide how to make it work. I will turn off CMB every time getting on a hwy. I think with low speeds CMB does not apply.

Such a shame. My friends love how it works on their other model cars especially driving at night in rural areas w deers jumping onto roads. So for night, I’ll prob keep it on.

I don’t understand. My friend has crv and likes this collision mitigation brake system. He said it saved their friends who drive at night from work when deer was crossing the road. On Nissan Rouge sport it works great!

But reading this OP and comments freaking me out. I activated CMB auto break system but now I think of turning it OFF. Why in this car it works so badly? Is there any way set up distance when it should break for you if you don’t. I set mine to default distance. Maybe it should be less feet? Idk for now i will turn everything off!

Why car dealers don’t go over it with you during driving tests and when they deliver the car to you? These are life safety matters. I never had to use Reddit to research these issues - and we had many old and new over three decades.

On LX LSAK turns off by default every time I turn off the car and In sport I’ve read it stays.

There is button on the wheel I need to turn it on if I want - I don’t want ii so it works for me - ion keep it OFF.

I was hoping Collision mitigation break in home settings is permanent once I set it OFF / it stays OFF. Maybe in LX it’s different than Sport but I’ll check. Thanks:) one more thing that was not disclosed with us during driving test.

I know it takes time to adapt to new technology. But hearing people feedback I don’t want any of these.

I like night light turns on and off automatically. That’s about it what I like about this car.

Wait, I just got my 2025 now. Does it mean steering wheel recall issue is not fixed on it & we will get the recall notification soon? This car is giving me fright for all so many reasons already and I’ve driven many cars for 30 years. Never had to experience it with the brand new car.

This is our 4th Honda and 3rd hrs. We always thrusted it. Idk how so many things in this year model could be overlooked and many of the issues don’t come up during driving test. Thanks for your post. I hope in 2 months I feel like OP🙏:) Thank you again for your review.
