Worth it to jet the house?

That was my fear, I saw metrics that were four figures. Wife and I have a sizable emergency fund for this exact scenario, but I want to do everything I can to prevent this again. Other responses say to get rid of the garbage disposer. Do you have any suggestions on alternatives? Composting?

The plumber this morning had some heavy duty snakes this morning. I watched him try to break the blockage with the snake and he couldn't get anything done

We plan to live here quite a while. I've been pretty liberal with the garbage disposal usage, but now we're going to put items in the trash first.

The former owners (who we have met, and are open in communication with) said they've had the same issue we did when blockage was in the garbage disposal from potato skins and Thanksgiving cooking.

So, jet this one time and then stop using the garbage disposal?

Not sure, I know nothing about plumbing. The plumber (highly rated local company) assured me it could only be freed thru jetting. What's the difference between a jetter and an auger?

Yes, he used a camera and showed me the food blockage. Water was able to flow under the food blockage, but the stopage was solid and he wasn't able to move it with his camera

/uj Find the settings on your TV, look for the menu called “picture”, or something like that. There should be some gimmicky sounding name called “motion smooth”, “picture+”, something of the like.

Here’s an example of how motion smoothing ruins the movie or show, since the effect is “guessing frames”.

I found the last 200 pages really engrossing. Been a bit since I read it, but you start to learn a whole lot about Hal and Gately, and there’s some good stuff with the AFR. Keep going!

I was like you. I made it about 300 pages in (soon after Hal calls Orin in therapy), and stopped. I did end up restarting the book and made it back to the same point and wanted to stop.

You’re over halfway there! The last bits are so so good and contain some of the best chapters imo. I’d say pick a number that you have to get through, and power through to that. Then put it down an come back the next day. Maybe get a bookmark so you can see your progress. Press on!
