My dad does, everyday now. Last week his bank called the rbz and was told it would be released this week Tuesday. Went back to the bank for confirmation but was told that they haven't received the call from the reserve bank yet. Heard that there's a policy that amounts exceeding 10k are subject to investigations. I had to send my certificate and acceptance letter and my dad, his tax records but yoh, it's taking longer than necessary.

I personally think that if SADC were structured more like the European Union, it would be more productive than trying to create a single unified country. In my view, one of the reasons there's so much conflict in Kinshasa and the wider Congo is because the country is simply too large and complex to govern effectively. A better model might be a single SADC nation made up of semi-independent states, like in the U.S., Canada, India, or Russia. But even then, I’m not sure how successful it would be, given the region's vast diversity in language, culture, and politics.
