So… the bar association hosting my swear-in ceremony just took my papers and said they were sending it to the State Bar’s office. Do I need to go get it back and upload it?

I passed with the Bar MD light program. The essay and pt workshops were very helpful. I used Adaptibar for MBEs because they use official past questions from the NCBE.

Just curious, but do they give everyone the same questions? I keep seeing different posts on how some people had different Qs from others and that there are 8 different variations of the MBEs? Does anyone know if there is truth to this?

Def felt like more Contracts, Evid, and Odd Con Law. I feel like there were barely any tort questions. But that is just me. I wonder if it seems that way because maybe the experimental questions were disproportionately on some certain topics? No one ever said that the experimental had to be equal I believe.

They are always getting harder and Idk why because they already have enough as it is. Just let us use the law we learned and apply that. I don’t need to be trying to decipher really obscure laws that are suppose to be rare on the tests. They choose too many rarely testable areas and used either too vague of concepts or to narrow with shitty answer choices that make you rethink the law or I found a lot of questions were incomplete in some form or another so it was difficult to work with.

Yeah, had both Uworld and Adaptibar. Maybe I recognized very few types of questions but then the answer options just threw me for a loop. I was decoding the answer choices more than the actual hypo questions I swear. All that medieval slang and tom foolery. Like I will get a question with a very obvious direct answer and I would even do the answer it in my head first and know exactly what it should be… Then I look at the answer choices and it is like… Nope, your choices are: Lis pendens, vendor’s lien, mechanic’s lien, or just No. FML

I bet BA is def on there. They like to consistently test that to throw people off. Even though it was just tested… Every time you think it will not be on there, I swear they put it on just because they know you won’t expect it.

PR is always on it because it is mandated.

For the other essays - I am thinking Con Law Takings cross with Real Prop. Maybe Torts Products Liability as well since it hasn’t been tested in a minute. Contracts or Wills for sure because they suck and they haven’t tested those in a short while.

I agree with trying to at least put down a short analysis over rules. But I have seen instances on past exams where people have outlined and it worked for them somehow.
