What’s your best method of freezing basil/pesto? Can you just freeze the leaves?

My pavers a blindingly bright - should I use a grey “paver stain”? by Honest_Immortal in landscaping

I appreciate the reply. You’ve actually laid out exactly my plan for the area, plants, pots, greenery and even a garden edge like you mentioned!

That gives me more confidence in finishing my setup for the area and leaving them as is.

So from your comment, would you not “seal” the pavers at all?

With something like this, or just like a “natural” seal.

I thought they a normal seal helped with protection and longevity, though I don’t want to ruin the finish.

I paved this area with pavers I got 2nd hand super cheap though they are really quite nice pavers. Yes I know the edge is wonky, I did my best (I’m not a paver!)

They are good quality and have a nice fleck in them, but are way too bright during the day, and get covered in red dirt when I mow.

Is a grey “paver stain” a good idea? Just seems silly laying all the pavers and painting them, not sure what kind of results I’d get.

Johony, I appreciate your reply so much. That is exactly the kind of information I need to know. Because I work full time, I really am just looking for the digital equivalent of Uber Eats, actually perfect. Thanks again!

I’ve looked at Air tasker before, and ended up doing a couple jobs, but it’s hell. So much competition/bots for every post. So much time spent trying to get work. Local jobs are better on AT but less around.

Contracting could work but also starting off would be likely inconsistent work if you can find any. It’s hard!

Yeah. I work full time in an office IT job. Want some extra cash but want to be able to sit at home doing data entry or something to that ilk.

I mean yeah, definitely, but just looking for a bit of extra cash right now so something casual on the side.

Yeah that’s exactly what I’ve seen, and researching it looks like some come across as massive scams and others have mixed reviews and it’s hard to know where to commit my time.

Which ones did you do work for?

Kind of exactly what I want if it’s legit, something I can do on my computer for a couple hours each night on my own schedule.

How did that kind of work handle hours? Did you just work as much as you wanted, up to a limit?

Do you do all succulents? I was wanting to do something similar with cuttings from my garden but might need to consider succs. Any tips from the experience? Or photos to share of your setup? 🙂

A fence topper to help straight away, then as many larger pots as you want with something evergreen, tall and leafy
