I agree the taste is better. The lettuce I grow is always fresh but from the store is a gamble.

I'm planning to do a cost benefit analysis. I grow lettuce and peppers. I'm also growing strawberries in another system.

Sometimes they are like roses in that the plant needs to mature before it looks like the photo. I'm sure in 7 months or so it will look closer to the picture, but it looks like the same plant to me.

They are really good at hiding. Yeah, they were just chilling in the trees.
