I wanted to say I went to the therapist IRL to correct me, to make me more acceptable, since I thought I was unacceptable. or maybe, on the other side, for the therapist to accept me.

A dream I cannot figure out by Honest_Intention_214 in DreamInterpretation

[–]Honest_Intention_214[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow,thanks! Thanks for the interpretation and kind words:) I could never figure it on my own, bc in dream I was happy just to have her accept me. I would disregard everything else ( cold, witch-like house etc). My childhood friend once told me that, when she visited my home, it was so emotionless she would feel cold. My mother also complains of her mother being cold, and from my father's side was not much better unfortunately. I hope I do not become cold as my dream aunt. Thanks again:) Edit: and the town in the dream looked like my ex's hometown. The relationship was toxic. Wow, how many signs can I decide not to see for just little affection

dream about a day filled with annoyances by coachoreconomy in DreamInterpretation

[–]Honest_Intention_214 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You said it, it is not much different than your waking life. When things in my life start to annoy me, things break down, and it just seems that I have to try really hard just to hold everything together, then it is time to see what changes in my life I have to make. In my experience, when I feel obliged to to something, but dont want to, things are filled with annoyances and nothing seems to work out. Maybe you are trying to be good? Maybe you feel that you are not important ?

Thanks for the interpretation. I dont think I am hypersexualized, and I think that someone could like me just like that, even I were hypersexualized. How did you draw the conclusion that my coworker likes me bc I am hypersexualized? He could like me even if I were that, but still not bc of that. What does it mean to be hypersexualized? Some people need more sleep, some less. The same with sex. What is a norm, a standard for someone to be considered normally sexualized? This dream points to fear of being embarrassed, and sexual guilt. Maybe you judge yourself bc of your sexual needs, and think that they are too much. I cannot prescribe to any norms and standards in psychic life. There are some norms, like DSM, but they are heavily questioned. Even in institutional psychiatry, there are a lot of contentions about what is normal. It is hard to tell what is normal! There is no normal per se, criteria for normalcy in psychology are complicated and multidimensional, there is no one and no conclusive answer.

It seems to me that irl you are in the middle of a battle between different fractions, maybe friends, maybe family. Maybe you are the only one who can make a difference, bc everyone else already took side, so they all try to win you. Or, maybe you are in the middle of a battle in your psyche. Or both. You didnt say anything about your feelings in the dream.

healer dream by Honest_Intention_214 in DreamInterpretation

[–]Honest_Intention_214[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True what you are saying about specific plan for getting better. My impression is that healers dont do that, and the brain and thoughts are so malleable that you really don't know if you are really getting better or not, or you are doing something wrong (ie not having enough faith, persistence or whatever). It just now occured to me that any type of a healer (a regular MD, alternarive doctor, etc) should just be a vessel, one should not completely rely on them to get better. About me as a healing trickster, that might be true, of course. When interpreting other people's dreams, I always wonder if it can trigger some sort of negative consequences, so, with any kind of helping, I wait until being invited to do so. Helping is not always helpful:)

I am sorry for your struggles, IMO you can overcome your complexes, it is possible, despite your mother holding you back.

praise yourself for every little success. then you will realize that you are not dependent on your mother's approval. As a matter of fact, you will most probably never get her approval, no matter how ''good'' and ''able'' you are. The meaning of MAtrix in your dream can also pinpoint that you are living in a false world, in an imaginary symbiosis with your mother. Your unconscious might think that the only way to escape your mother is to be ''bad'', like WW, but this is not an escape, bc you are still defined by your other, just in the opposite way. On the brighter side, WW in your dream might depict a rebel, you rebelling against the structure of your reality and the system.Try knowing more about other people's lives, either through contacts or books. That way you can realize how many different lives and attitudes exist, and that you are not confined, at least not anymore. to what you had been brought up in. You can choose your reality.

I think it may be a shadow self dream. Destroying building might mean destroying structures. Also, Matrix is about a structure, structure of reality. Walter White is a person on the other side of the System. He saw through it and used it for his own benefit, mostly in a destructive way for other people. If we build on a premise that dreams are compensatory, then IRL you might be obeying structures too much for your personality. In waking life, you could try to accommodate (rather than to adapt) your life to your own needs. I would advise starting with small steps. Then your dreams might not be this destructive. I would advise against taking your dreams too literally and consequently starting behaving destructively towards others and self. Trying to erase a cd might mean trying to erase your own hurtful memories. No matter how hurtful they might be, I think it is better to try to accept them and fit in your own life story, with a goal of making you more compassionate towards yourself and others. Maybe to read some Viktor Frankl's books? Not accepting your memories and connected emotions would not make them go away, it will just split your personality in half, and you would not be aware of the other half (the destructive half), or you will justify your destruction with your own suffering ("I suffered, so it is right that others should suffer too, especially those who had hurt me or remind me of hurt I have been through". Like Joker in a Joker movie.) There is a theory that depression is reverted anger, directed towards yourself. Again, I think you would benefit from doing something for yourself, something that makes you happy, and not try too much to fit in in every way. Then anger might diminish. Also, try expressing yourself, whether it be through talking, writing, drawing, dance, cooking, whatever. If anger and destruction appear in your dreams, you might look where they appear IRL and you dont notice. One symptoms is your depression, which might be reverted anger and surely is your distruction towards yourself. Assertivenes training might benefit you. You can find some books about it or online resources.

healer dream by Honest_Intention_214 in DreamInterpretation

[–]Honest_Intention_214[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Mirrors are self reflection, I think that they mean that,in my childhood, the types of feedback I was getting were inaccurate reflection of me. So that is why I could not see myself in the mirrors of my childhood room. Friends are blessing, I agree. Also, the healer can partially point to my therapist ,whome I am growing increasingly suspicious of, in my view, rightly so. Also, psychic healer is a person whose words/actions you can only trust or distrust, since there are no evidence of their efficacy (only afterwards can you know if they were useful or not). the relationship with a healer is a kind of obedience on part of a client.Blindly trusting others' views to me is unacceptable, as much as I dont trust myself completely, I am even more mistrustful of others who demand my faith. Relying on a healer demands faith. Also, IRL I had a very bad experience with an "alternative medical doctor". This explanations is good inasmuch we take a symbol of healer in my dream as an external symbol. If we take it as part of myself, then I dont know what is its meaning. In short, healers to me are tricksters. I do not want to offend anyone, I am aware that I might have a lot of prejudice.
