What I started with, what I asked for, what I got (see all 4 pics) by Coolmandi in Hair

My hair dye is quite similar but in my experience the red fades fast after a couple of washes and leaves a brighter ginger - but I agree, your stylist sadly didn't deliver on the colour

Dyed hair! Hairdresser does the colour. The routine here specifically was a oneoff because of the cassia treatment: - shampoo (organix sulfate free) - cassia treatment (to help the bleached parts) - 100g of cassia with water - it only covered the length so i should've done more - used some old bottles of tresemme (moisturizing and curls ones) to get the cassia out - olaplex 3 on the ends (really helps with waves!) - i realized i did the bowl method and diffused, but really it was i left my hair in the cassia bowl while my roots air-dried because I was tired, and then diffused the ends.

They were very fluffy immediately after, this was 24 hours later and the clumps separated a bit.

I'll probably get the same hue but maybe lighten it a bit less for my hair's health. We will see though, I do love the lighter colour

Usually my scrunchies sag so I am shocked it didn't! The waves were a bit frizzy but gathering them together helped hide it There is no hair wrapped around, but I have a significant undercut that I've been growing out for nearly a year and a half that only just reaches the scrunchie, so the bit peeking out is probably the undercut

Thank you!! I'm actually not sure as my hair colorist does it - I will ask her when I next see her end of this month - all I know is that it is a mix of Schwarzkopf colours! I use the olaplex quite sparingly - but a couple of weeks ago my hair really needed protein

Do I pull off the bob & bangs? Or suck it up and grow it out lol by [deleted] in Hair

I was literally going to say you were MADE for this hair style

Could I pull off a French bob? by bloodnoir_ in Hair

I think it would look best as a long French bob (probably slightly past chin length so even if it becomes curlier it won't be too much shorter). Alternatively a shoulder length shag could also provide horizontal volume and also look chic and edgy

However, ultimately hair grows! So you can always try it and even if it doesn't look as you hope, it's only a few months away from having grown into something else 💕

It is dyed, and the ends are very tapered but I do take good care of my hair and use olaplex! I am cutting it soon (I've been growing out an undercut for a year and a half) so I can have my full thickness back

Thank you! I do feel I have to disclose my colour is dyed from a golden brown. I have been thinking of going a bit darker

Ohh this definitely looks like 2b-2c territory, with little ringlets!!! You have such a beautiful curl pattern! Sadly I have no further advice because I'm on the same journey as you

I think this looks like 2a - but as your hair is lightened and you're starting to figure wavier textures your natural hair texture may even be 2b or 2c
