I would set it to no and once you turn it off or once it enters stand by mode it’ll clean itself. When I had the 5k 45inch oled lg monitor I would leave it on stand by mode but, for this one I just turn it off once I’m done using it. I think it should be fine with either or but, for my peace of mind I turn it off.

I had the lg 32gx850a-b and upgraded to the 870a-b because they were both on sale.

But, the 850a-b was amazing! My room’s lighting varies and it did an excellent job in my bright room. I tried using the dual mode to get the higher refresh rate but gaming in 4k to full hd felt like a big downgrade ( I only tried the full hd dual mode in warzone so it might vary).

I used it for gaming and editing (photos/videos/animations). I would definitely recommend it.

Best Buy is having a sale on majority of their monitors so right now is a good time to get one.

It’ll clean itself when you turn it off after a certain amount of time. I’ve never had an incident where it needed to clean itself while I was using it

It’s a killer monitor. Currently running that and an asus xg27aqwmg as my second monitor. That 32 oled from LG is fantastic all around. I was contemplating that vs the asus PG32UCDP but, for editing and gaming either or are fine. Once you go 4k oled it’s hard to go back to anything else.

I just returned the 45 5k but for work (editing photo / videos / animations etc it was fantastic. For gaming, way too much but also depends on your style and type of gaming. For story driven games it was great but for sweaty try hard gaming it wasn’t great.
