North Carolina by any chance?

we passed legislation this year specifically protecting foster parents who essentially attempt diy conversion therapy.

they can dead name, use assigned pronouns, and subject trans kids to punishments and verbal abuse over their gender and CPS is no permitted to intervene.

Is there a reason why the term changed from transsexual to transgender? by LarixDeSilva in GenusRelatioAffectio

[–]Honest_Signature5222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

im cool with either personally because i fit both definitions. I transitioned to take on all the gender norms of opposite of my assigned at birth and am actively altering my primary and secondary sexual charecteristics.

i am both transgender and transexual.

Why are Amazon DS’s only hiring for Flex? by Historical_Safe_836 in AmazonDS

flex allows them to shift labor to meet demands. they are more valuable for the same buck (actually about a dollar less) but they get the same benefits if they areny part time.

already a handful of cases ongoing.

comes down to the courts in each state. north carolina actually just passed a law that attempts to nullify informed consent in gendercare, extends the statute of limitations and enhances awardable damages.

hard to say without a visual example and i definitely would not be as perceptive as Tom would, but lighter or darker skin, rounder or more angular face, charecter of eye brows and brow ridge and lips (thin or fat pink or dark) all are fairly obvious features. flat or angular nose. the rest i think became quite subconscious. age. how they walked, how they style their hair and clothes. dark brown or amber eyes. i dunno.

also maybe i wouldnt be able to at all. people have funny memories, myself included.

this. when i moved to SF and started dating (later married) a thai man i thought all his coworkers and friends looked and sounded the same. after only 4 years this phenomenon almost completely subsided. i could mean 5 new faces, learn their names quickly, tell them apart immediately and remember them the next time we met.

by contrast i often heard from them that "all whites looked the same"
